Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using the Atomic Boolean service you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.

2. The service

Atomic Boolean accepts events from your systems and delivers them over HTTPS to endpoints you configure. Delivery is attempted according to the retry schedule of your plan. We deliver events; we do not guarantee that a receiving server will accept them.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for the security of your API keys and signing secrets, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at security@atomicboolean.me if you believe a key has been compromised.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to:

• Deliver unlawful content, or content that infringes another party's rights.
• Send unsolicited bulk messages to endpoints you do not control or have not been authorised to call.
• Probe, scan, or overload infrastructure you do not own.
• Attempt to disrupt the service or access data belonging to another customer.

We may suspend an account that generates abusive traffic, and will tell you why unless legally prevented from doing so.

5. Fees

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Failed delivery attempts and retries are not billed. Prices exclude applicable taxes. Unpaid invoices may result in suspension after 14 days' notice.

6. Free tier

The free tier is provided as-is, without a service level commitment, and may be changed or discontinued with 30 days' notice.

7. Data

You retain all rights to the event payloads you send. We process them only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. Payloads are deleted at the end of your plan's retention window.

8. Availability

Paid plans target 99.9% monthly availability for the delivery API. Planned maintenance is announced at least 48 hours in advance. This target is a goal, not a warranty, except where a separate written service level agreement applies.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost data.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may terminate for material breach of these terms after written notice and a 14-day cure period. On termination, you may export your event logs for 30 days before deletion.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes are emailed to account holders at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
